This short film made by pupils from St. Helen's Primary School focuses upon their own town of Hoyland. Local residents tell of the changes made to the area over the years and share their thoughts about it's controversial redevelopment.

The project was a powerful vehicle with which the young people could investigate their local history and heritage, whilst gaining hands-on experience with professional film-making equipment.
C Media Productions work with people of all ages on projects addressing issues such as regeneration, crime, health, heritage and family relationships. We use video and digital media to engage groups and individuals in creative activity, empowering them to tell their own stories, whilst learning and sharing new skills.

All C Media projects are image based, and as a starting point utilise digital cameras, digital video and scanners. Projects can run from a few sessions to several months, with final films being screened on DVD, at the Cinema or streamed over the web.

Image based work appears as postcards, leaflets, web design or even billboard posters.
